@TreFast 32: 1.8? I have to say I disagree on that. 1.7.10, like 1.6.4, is one of the platforms that currently dead mods that are famous are currently residing. 1.8 is usually skipped. As for 1.9, 1.10, and 1.11, 1.9 is usually skip and some famous mods are in 1.10 and 1.11. As for 1.12.2, that's where new and old famous mods are residing. @Ramyskie: 1.12.2 is the best version for modding in my opinion. This is the lastest version so many people have their eyes in this version. 1.7.10 may die completely in 1.13 as 1.13 have a very big boost performance update that may force other people especially those who have lower end computer to play in this version. Correct me if I am mistaken.

Look at the configurations of that mod. You can maybe find there an auto conversion. If there is none then I can't do anything because I am not the mod author of that mod.

Well ProjectE isn't out for 1.11.2 and it may be one of the many mods that will skip pass 1.11.2 and update to 1.12.It is out for 1.10.2 though.

Why would they skip? Just asking because I am curious.
