Looking for a version that has a wealth of mods to build out modpack, we like focusing on biome exploration, magic, interesting machines and industry (the oil refining process is so satisfying) as well as a more robust combat/dungeon exploration experience.
For us that was 1.12.2 but I'm wondering if a newer version has emerged that has the mod support that, that version had.
