I don't include the minecraft server file as that is against Minecraft EULA So you will have to have the MinecraftServer.java file. Than just run the Forge file.
I really enjoy the theme of this mod. It reminds me of a true fantasy game like D&D, Skyrim, e.t.c... their are two issues I have found.
The quest line is bugged. The stone tongs have two instances in NEI as a result when they are crafted it does not complete it. I went in and changed the item acceptance as fuzzy and it fixed it, others may not be familiar with that though.
since the last update the food system is messed up and will only restore yellow outlines not true hunger.
Honestly, I think even more quests for things like killing dragons and such would be awesome as well. This has a lot of potential and I am a fan of what you have done so far. Keep up the good work
The latest update should fix this issue with the hunger problems, at least on my instance and TheDarkPreachers instance.
I will fix the questlines, thanks for the report. Most quests will not have normal reward type systems, They are there more as a guide to little used mods. The dragon killing I will look into, there will be quests for mob killing in the Abyssalcraft areas for sure. That is why I added the Abyssalcraft heads mod.
for some reasen i cant download the mod pack can someone help
ps. sorry for my spelling
Easiest way is to download the Curse Voice client and just install it that way. Otherwise go to the files tab on the website and click the latest file, than scroll down to manual install and download that and install using MultiMC or Vanilla launcher. There are tutorials for both ways to do it. But Curse Voice is the easiest way.
There is literally a link to the download to install it VIA MultiMC or whatever launcher you want. Or you can download curse voice and get it that way. Either way, there are a ton of tutorials on how to install packs via MultiMC or Vanilla launcher.
Hey folks, for those who are downloading the Cthulhu Awakens modpack, I need you to help out with suggestions, bugs, and if someone wants, simple text guides I can put in the FTBUtilities guidebook to help folks through the pack.
Current progress is that I have Minefantasy, Railcraft and most of Immersive Engineering completed with minetweaking recipes. Next up is Magneticraft recipes. Than I move on to the magic side and start configuring the mob behaviours. If you have reports of mobs breaking things you don't think they should, I need the block name and mod it is from. I will dive into the food groups for spice of life after working out the magic progression and than I will begin writing the storyline quests which will guide people through the modpack. Don't expect rewards through these quests, they are more of a storyline to gently push players down the intended path and are completely optional for progression through the mods.
I have a Discord server set up for testing purposes and release txt and pic updates on what I am working on. Feel free to join https://discord.gg/0aQY97BNpi2pMOqL
At this point it is nearly impossible to update this pack..last I tried there were multiple errors. So the pack is final, as is. I may revisit it in a new form at some point in time. HQM will never be in this pack tho
Not impossible, you just have to be geared up properly to go in there and change how you do things. Trust me it's survivable with the right equipment. You have ALOT of tools at your disposal to help.
