You won't find help that way. You'd better create your own post with a descriptive title and give lots of details about your problem. Tagging your unrelated question onto the end of someone else's post is only going to confuse or annoy people.

posted a message on Forever Stranded giving "Game ended with bad state (exit code 255)" error.

Hopefully someone can give me a clue about what this is. I don't know how to read log files. Trying to play the latest edition of Forever Stranded (1.8.8). Everything is fine until it is "Loading - Initializing Minecraft Engine" and finishes (5 of 5) "Rendering Setup - Loading Entity Renderer". After that Java throws up an error "Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." The program is forced to close.

Since the native launcher wasn't giving detailed logs I switched to the jar launcher so I could at least get some log files to post. Here is the launcher log:

And here is the game log:

I am playing on an AMD E-450 APU with Radeon HD graphics 1.65 GHz, 6 GB ram, 64 bit, Windows 7 Home Premium.

Also using latest Forge (12.18.3.2272 and Java 1.8.0_121)

I hope someone can help me figure out this problem. It seems to crop up on other modpacks as well.

Only thing I can think of is that you are choosing a folder too deep in your directory for the game or you tend to make your folder names way to long. In any case a directory path that has too many characters in it is probably your problem. Try renaming folders with shorter names. Or try placing your launcher folder closer to the root folder in your directory tree.

    In reply to Woodworker80:

Minecraft is not enabled in the app when you first start it up. You have to go into the settings first and enable Minecraft. Then go into the minecraft tab and it will walk you through downloading Minecraft to the folder you choose. After that you can start browsing and downloading modpacks.

    Try using pastebin

Just make sure the log you paste does not have contain your login credentials. You can search it for your password before pasting.
