It's been a couple years since I played minecraft so I forgot how to download mods with the newer versions. So far I have downloaded the .jar file for the mod. But it does not open, it doesn't send an error nor no pop up and close, it just doesn't open. I uninstalled java many times. I have dragged the .jar file into .minecraft in %appdata%. I have used my Control Panel to command the file to be opened and it sends me an error message. I reinstalled the mod. I have been to several forums and tried a lot of different things. Can someone help me. Also, mods have worked in the past before and my computer can support them.
