    posted a message on [SOLVED] Modpack Project has not been accepted after 24 hours

     

    If you created a brand new project and are uploading a file for the first time then it needs to be manually approved, which can take 1-3 working days (will list days below) 
    Any projects that have 3rd party mods will also be set to manual review. 

     

    When Updating a pack, that doesn't have any 3rd party mods, generally an hour, However if it takes more then 1hour then it was flagged for manual review for some reason. 

     

    Working Days:

    Sunday - Thursday 10am - 6pm GMT+2
    Non working days: Friday & Saturday

     Currently there is an Alpha version of the Linux client out for WOW, minecraft is still in the works. However until then the ATLauncher currently works for Linux.

    posted a message on CurseForge launches Vanilla Minecraft with new installations

     

    Give this a try, all of you, 

     

    In the CF app beside the + Create Custom Profile button there is 3 vertical dots, Click that then click Repair Installation 
    once it has completed try the pack again. If you get an error like "minecraft is already running" restart the pc > then try again.

     Try going into the packs config folder > delete the CCL config. This is the config file for CodeChickenLib, which is failing to read.

     The issue is the client and server files don't match. Make sure you are using the same version of the modpack. Double check that you are in fact using the same pack version.

     

    I have seen issues where the users has (example) 1.0.2 and the server is 1.0.20. Which aren't the same versions.

     Not sure if your still having this issue but better late then never I guess...

    Make sure all other minecraft instances are closed on the PC > then in the CF app Beside the "+Create Custom Profile" button there are 3 vertical dots > Click them > Click Repair Installation > then try the pack again. If you get something like "minecraft is running/open" reboot the pc then try the Repair installation again. 

     

    Incorrect: If your clicking a button called Repair Profile > Re-read the steps above again ;)

     Delete the 2 mods and redownload them using the CurseForge app itself. Sometimes mods act funky if they were drag/dropped into the mods folder. Or just randomly decide to be a pain. 

    After doing the above > export your zip again > open it > look in the overrides/mods folder (if one). If there are mods in the mods folder repeat the process again. If this issue still continues with the same mods let me know, or join the CF discord and let us know there.

    Not many people look at the forums anymore. I do my best to help out but sometimes stuff slips past. The CF discord is a better place to ask these sort of things + it's a bit of a faster response. 

    Copied from the CF Discord: 

    Serverpacks are special files uploaded alongside an existing project file. If the main file is rejected the server pack is also rejected.

     

    You require an already uploaded export file to upload a server pack!

     

    1. Make the server pack by zipping up the required files by selecting the required folders & files. It should include the config and mod folders at a minimum, plus anything else you specifically required to run the server. Start/Run/Setup scripts are optional. Don't include modloader files or the minecraft server jar.
    2. Go to the Files tab on the project.
    3. Click the name of the file you wish to upload the server pack to. The pack and server should match pack versions.
    4. Click Upload Additional File.
    5. Fill out the form.

     Make sure the clients version of the pack matches the same version the server is running. If this is a server you made, make sure the mods, configs and anything else the pack needs to work (scripts, extra configs) are the same as the client.

    On going issues at CF servers ATM, there is info about it in the #cf-news channel in the CurseForge discord. Not eta on when it will be fixed. There should be an announcement in that channel when it is though.

    There are some On going server issues ATM, there is more info on what's going on in the #cf-news channel in the CurseForge discord. Currently there is no eta on when it will be resolved as the team is still working hard at fixing it.  Some things may work while others may not, just hold tight. 

     

    There should be an announcement in that channel when it is fixed though.

    That zip file is incorrect. How are you making your zip file? Are you manually zipping all the files in your pack OR are you using the CurseForge apps export feature?
