Will there ever be interaction and rendering with a placed clipboard like the one from Bibliocraft? It seems theirs makes everyone crash for some reason.
Maybe it's out of the scope of the mod but, could you add some sort of transient checklist to help us remember to make the clipboard? Like using some item to make a 3 things only checklist to simulate oneself capacity to remember tasks, that way we could better organize ourselves when we have too much mods specially that increase difficulty making early-mid-game items like paper harder to obtain.
I'm aware it might require some core rework, but is there any chance the functionality of the clipboard could be extended to allow shared clipboards/players to be able to read the contents of other players' clipboards?
I'm using 1.10, so that version is preferred also.
It's already been reported and as I said, I have no idea why. For me, it takes less than 50 milliseconds and I'm not doing anything intensive during startup.
Because I make about 20 mods. If didn't reuse code in my library, the amount of code duplication between my mods would be ridiculous and make it impossible for me to maintain them.
It was quite the user-unfriendly experience setting up this mod. Could you make it so that both dependencies are detectable by Forge, so that missing Forgelin produces a proper error message instead of a crash?
No, no I can't. Due to the way Forgelin works and how some mods are using Forgelin, changing it to be a proper mod would cause a crash if certain mods were used together. It is up to users/pack developers to read the description and look at the file dependencies.
oh thank you so much! I find using the normal minecraft book and quill to be too much of a hassle. I can't count the number of times that I lost track of what I was doing.
I'd like to use this mod in another public modpack. It won't be public until I get all the mod permissions, but it's the pack I'm playing in this series. Similar to my other pack, all mods will be properly attributed with links. Do I have your permission to include this mod?

Not sure if there is a bug. Or just badly coded but clipboard takes way to long to load:
clipboard: 1194ms
Compared
bloodmagic: 1011ms

Why do I need to add 2 additional libraries for a simple clipboard mod?
I'll stick with bibliocraft, thanks!

I goofed. I submitted a crash report to github before realizing that I was missing Forgelin. I had ShadowMC, tho! My bad.

Can I use this in my public modpack? I see no modpack policy stated.
Go ahead :)
