A simple clipboard for keeping track of your todo list.

I literally made an account to complain about this mod. How in god's name has this mod been alive for 2 years and I don't see any complaints about this?
>You have to delete an entire line of text in order for it to be actually deleted. If you don't, it'll recover what you deleted when you turn a page or exit out of the menu>You can only choose a checkmark or an X. There's nothing for blank spaces, so your entire clipboard is full of X's.>You have to start from the beginning of the text, and can't click anywhere in-between.>You have to spam the left and right arrow keys to move where you're typing your text. You can't hold it down.>No title slot for the clipboard.>No formatting optionsOh, and who could forget that you require TWO OTHER CORE MODS for this. ShadowMC and not Forgelin, the game will straight up crash. It won't tell you you're missing a core mod.
Am I going over the top with such a simple mod? Maybe. But c'mon man, you can do better than this. Minecraft's chat box has more features than this mod.
In reply to Sanio46:
Is this made for server aswell? Have the .jar installed on both server and client (v 1.12.2) but when I try place down the clipboard on a wall in the server it disappears.
I have been using clipboard 1.12 on 1.12.2 for a long time can you upgrade this to 1.12.2 please? its crashing now :(
Will there ever be interaction and rendering with a placed clipboard like the one from Bibliocraft? It seems theirs makes everyone crash for some reason.
is there a 1.8.9 forge compatible version?
Maybe it's out of the scope of the mod but, could you add some sort of transient checklist to help us remember to make the clipboard? Like using some item to make a 3 things only checklist to simulate oneself capacity to remember tasks, that way we could better organize ourselves when we have too much mods specially that increase difficulty making early-mid-game items like paper harder to obtain.
Can I use this in my modpack?
In reply to deltuhvee:
I'm aware it might require some core rework, but is there any chance the functionality of the clipboard could be extended to allow shared clipboards/players to be able to read the contents of other players' clipboards?
I'm using 1.10, so that version is preferred also.
Not sure if there is a bug. Or just badly coded but clipboard takes way to long to load:
It's already been reported and as I said, I have no idea why. For me, it takes less than 50 milliseconds and I'm not doing anything intensive during startup.
Why do I need to add 2 additional libraries for a simple clipboard mod?
I'll stick with bibliocraft, thanks!
Because I make about 20 mods. If didn't reuse code in my library, the amount of code duplication between my mods would be ridiculous and make it impossible for me to maintain them.
I goofed. I submitted a crash report to github before realizing that I was missing Forgelin. I had ShadowMC, tho! My bad.
It was quite the user-unfriendly experience setting up this mod. Could you make it so that both dependencies are detectable by Forge, so that missing Forgelin produces a proper error message instead of a crash?
No, no I can't. Due to the way Forgelin works and how some mods are using Forgelin, changing it to be a proper mod would cause a crash if certain mods were used together. It is up to users/pack developers to read the description and look at the file dependencies.
oh thank you so much! I find using the normal minecraft book and quill to be too much of a hassle. I can't count the number of times that I lost track of what I was doing.
it require API mods?
can you send a link
nvm i need shadowmc to work
