Ex Compressum
Studies suggest that supporting my Patreon will make all your dreams come true.
Ex Compressum is an Ex Nihilo addon that provides tools to reduce the initial grind in skyblocks in a balanced way.
In Minecraft 1.10.2, it supports both Ex Nihilo Omnia as well as Ex Nihilo Adscensio.
In Minecraft 1.12, it currently supports Ex Nihilo: Creatio
Features
- Compressed Hammers to break Compressed Blocks into nine of their smashed version (e.g. Compressed Gravel -> 9 Sand) (+ Auto Compressed Hammer)
- Compressed Crook which is four times as fast as a normal crook, but only twice as durable
- Heavy Sieve to sift compressed blocks directly, at a small loss of efficiency (+ Auto (Heavy) Sieve)
- Auto Compressor to automatically compress items into blocks (e.g. Broken Ores into Ore Gravel)
- Auto Sieves and Auto Hammers
- Wooden Crucible to extract water from plants, as an alternative to rain
- Animal baits that can be placed to spawn cows, pigs, chicken, sheep, ocelots and wolves outside of their natural biome
Kryllyk has made a Mod Spotlight on Ex Compressum, go ahead and check it out!

Hey, can I use Crafttweaker to change the recipes on the mod? I have being trying to do that and I just fail to do it. I can remove them but not add new recipes.
So yeah, I figured out what is going on with the mod's configuration, it forced into default after I changed it, and now suddenly forced back to default. I don't know what is happening but the reason is I restart the Minecraft, and look it up, and forced into the default. I have an issue with a configuration.
The truth is I put, the config that I made this. But in-game, still nothing changed after I made it.
Are any conflict or issue?
As far as i am concern, is there an issue with the compressed mobs or is just me that the compressed mobs does not split into 9 but instead drops the name tag of the specific compressed mob.
Im quite curious whether various Ex Nihilo mods will affect the outcome of compressed mobs.
tested with 1.12.2-3.0.9 and latest release and using Ex Nihilo: Creatio.
Hai is there any chance you going to make 1.11.x?
There is a recipe conflict where I try to craft any of the heavy sieves, and instead get the wooden crucible from Creatio only. It's slightly frustrating but not entirely game-breaking. Just thought you should know.

hi @Lupus, you can actually use NoMoreRecipeConflict mod to overcome this simple issue.
Link is here for your benefits. enjoy.

Hey, since the Ex Nihio Omnia Dev isn't really active anymore, I was wondering if you could add some custom sieving/barrel recipes to this. It was implemented in before but now it doesn't seem to work.
Wood chippings can't be composed in 1.12 with ex nihilo creatio
how can you be so dumb... to make the mod... 1.10 and 1.12
...
BUT NOT 1.11!!!??? D::::<

1.10.2 version crashes when placing a bait.
It appears to be a rogue NullPointerException

I'm very confused regarding putting efficiency and fortune enchantments on the mesh as described in the wiki: "Additionally, the mesh used inside the sieve can be enchanted with either Unbreaking, Fortune or Efficiency.".
So I've tried using vanilla enchantment tables and all I get when enchanting is: Auto-smelt, Unbreaking, Soulbound and XP-boost, but not Fortune and Efficiency.
When using an anvil to put either an Efficiency or Fortune book together with a mesh it doesn't work either. So has this changed? Am I doing it wrong?
I'm using Ex Compressum 2.0.87 on Minecraft 1.10.2, playing the "Forever Stranded" modpack.
I've read the changelogs since this release and don't see any mention of this being changed.
EDIT: I found a year old reddit post mentioning how you previously could put enchanted books into the sieves, but that is no longer possible.

A error in in recipes, the recipe that is suppose to craft a heavy sieve ends up making a wooden crucible...
Edit: The recipe conflicts with Ex Nihili: Creatio, who has a wooden crucible with the same recipe layout. The center block in heavy sieve should really be a slab instead of a oak/etc block.
Ok This mod was updated again 2 hours ago and still not showing up on twitch client for 1.12.1 or 1.12
