Game of Life

Ever been frustrated by the static nature of your builds, wish you could have a vibrant and dynamic flooring/roofing/anything material.

That is the purpose of the Game Of Life Blocks. These blocks are white initially however can be 'activated' and will turn green. Once activated, every 20 ticks (usually 1 second) the blocks will interact with those around them to decide which ones will remain activated, activate themselves or die.

The rules for the killing of activating of these blocks follows Conways Game of Life:

  1. Any active block with fewer than two active neighbours dies, as if caused by under-population.
  2. Any active cell with two or three active neighbours lives on to the next generation.
  3. Any active cell with more than three active neighbours dies, as if by overcrowding.
  4. Any dead cell with exactly three active neighbours becomes a live cell, as if by reproduction.

Another feature is that by applying a redstone signal to any block will prevent it from changing its state.

Future updates will add many more features such as configurable colours.
