Hardcore Revival

Have you ever played Hardcore multiplayer with friends and suddenly your teammate died to a dumb mistake while you were just being comfy at home? You usually would be forced to restart, even though you didn't really do anything wrong. Maybe your friend didn't do anything wrong either. Overall I believe that death in hardcore is only fun if it feels like you really deserved it, for example while fighting a strong boss monster.
Therefore, this mod aims to solve this problem! When a player dies, instead of being gone for good, they enter a K.O. state, at which point a timer will start running. Being the good friend you are, you can attempt to save them in time. If you do, everything is fine - they get a small debuff and a strong appetite and you two can be on your way again. If you don't, for example because you died while trying to save them, or you just didn't care about your friend get there in time, then that's your own fault and you can now decide to restart while in peace with yourself!
But yeah long story short, grace K.O. period before final death where your friends can save you, similar to other survival games.
The mechanic is simple - locate the player and hold right-click for two seconds or so to help them get back up. While K.O., the player can look around and chat, but can not move, attack or use items. There's also integration for the Ping and TeamUp mods included (check the config file for info). And despite the name, it works in non-hardcore worlds as well.

Not too much of an issue but more of a feature request, configurable health upon revival? Right now player's revive with instant full hearts, and I run a very survival based modpack with vanilla regeneration disabled, so healing items and whatnot are generally required to heal. I believe being able to be revived with full hearts is a bit too easy and would like to have some config options to config health and hunger upon revival (maybe even water for TaN support, but not necessary)

Awesome Mod! The only thing I would add is a feature to kill the downed player if you wish for them to stay dead in cases of large-scale pvp battles. Thanks for all the mods you've given the community!

Looks nice, can you change the death message to "Player has knocked down by.." at K.O period and after the player really DIE the death mesage become "Player has killed by.."

Coding right now and realized how awesomely your mod could use getEntity().setGlowing() when you are down on the ground!
Great mod, simple and effective. My kid hates dying, even with keepInventory cheat enabled, and he loves this mod. It works with at least 26 other mods I use with 1.12, but I did have problems using the tombstone mod with this one (so I removed the tombstone mod)
The option to give up and die is exactly what I expected, thanks!
Only thing that could make this mod better is maybe like a curbstomp/execute option so that if a PVP enemy is down you can finish 'em off real quick like.
this mod is way cooler then every other revival mod I've used over the years.

How does this interact with grave stone type mods?
Love this mod, just wanted to report a slight incompatibility with the Gravestone Mod-Graves. When you get KO'd, it registers as a death event so Graves drops a gravestone with your stuff in so if you get revived you have no gear. It's not game-breaking but rather annoying - not sure if it's something that can be fixed.
