Features

  • Added Grass Weave -- new crafting item crafted with 6 Grass Fibers.
  • Re-added Steel Mesh from M4. Mostly decorative block with several crafting uses (primarily for crafting Sieves). Behaves similar to Iron Bars when placed, and will connect to adjacent blocks. Crafted with 6 Steel Nuggets.
  • Re-added Mining Sieves from M4! Crafted with 3 Ingots, some form of Mesh, and a Reinforced Stick. Comes in Copper, Iron, Bronze, and Archantine variants, along with a new, Creative-only material, Adamantium.
  • Mining Sieves, unlike other Tools, have no effect when used to break blocks normally. Instead, right-clicking any soil/powder block with one will instantly break the block, dropping a randomly selected item in return.

  • Mining Sieves have extremely low durability relative to other tools -- Archantine Sieves have 512 uses, Bronze Sieves have 128, Iron Sieves have 64, and Copper Sieves have only 32 uses. Sieves can, however, be enchanted with Unbreaking and Mending via Enchanted Books.
  • However, Iron, Bronze, and Archantine Mining Sieves require a Steel Mesh to craft, whereas Copper Sieves only require a Grass Weave, making them a good early-game option for sifting prior to obtaining an Alloy Furnace.
  • Unlike most tools, Archantine Sieves can be repaired once fully broken. A Broken Archantine Sieve can be crafted with an Archantine Nugget and a Steel Mesh to restore it to full durability.
  • Adamantium Sieves, unlike the other 4 variants, do not have durability at all, and are completely indestructible, making them great for use in Skyblock-style custom maps with limited resources.
  • Copper, Iron, Bronze, and Archantine Mining Sieves can be smelted to return 1 Nugget of their respective type, just like other Tools, Weapons, or Armor.
  • Re-added Tiled Glass from M4! Purely decorative Glass variant, crafted with 9 Glass. Can replace normal Glass in most recipes.
  • Re-added Bricked Glass from M4! Decorative Glass variant, crafted with 4 Glass. Can replace normal Glass in most recipes.
  • Re-added Iron Windows (formerly named Framed Glass) from M4! Decorative Glass variant, crafted with 5 Glass and 4 Iron Bars. Unlike normal Glass, Windows drop as a block even when harvested without Silk Touch. Iron Windows also have a bit more blast resistance than normal Glass.
  • Added Wooden Windows, a new Glass variant crafted with 4 Sticks, 4 Glass, and a Reinforced Stick. Can be harvested without Silk Touch.
  • Added Steel Windows, a new Glass variant crafted with 5 Glass and 4 Steel Mesh. Can be harvested without Silk Touch, and has enough blast resistance to withstand a direct Ghast Fireball explosion.
  • Added Tiled Glass Panes. Crafted with 6 Tiled Glass. Can be used to replace normal Glass Panes in most recipes.
  • Added Bricked Glass Panes. Crafted with 6 Bricked Glass. Can be used to replace normal Glass Panes in most recipes.

Changes

  • Iron Bars are now crafted with 6 Iron Nuggets instead of Ingots, and give 2 per craft.
  • Smelling Salts can now cure Infection, Aggression, and Hydrophobia in addition to their other effects.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a potentially world-freezing bug with Mite Eggsacks. In prior versions they could spawn Endermites outside of the entity-loading range, which would prevent the Mites from despawning. This could cause infinite Endermites to spawn and then freeze the game if you AFK'd in the wrong spot for too long. Mite Eggsacks now require a player to be present within a 32x32x32 block radius in order to spawn Endermites, similar to how Mob Spawners work.
  • Fixed a niche world-freeze that could happen if you set up a Piston flying machine with Spikes attached and set it off underground. The Spikes could generate near-limitless quantities of Item entities that would then get pushed along and build up at the end of the tunnel. Loading this chunk would then cause the world to freeze as hundreds of Item entities are loaded in. Spikes now only drop items from blocks they break as long as there are less than 30 Item entities within a 5x5x5 area surrounding the Spike. This quantity can be changed via config.
  • Fixed Alloy Furnaces and Crushers not consuming 2x as much fuel when using non-Vanilla fuel items.
  • Fixed Iron Plating not being craftable.
  • Fixed Diamond Spikes not being craftable.
  • Maybe fixed a mod conflict with several mods involving loot tables? I'm not sure what the exact cause is, and it's not super easy to test it in the dev environment, so I guess we'll find out if the change I made fixes anything.
  • Fixed the Heart Piece > Heart Container recipe not unlocking when the player obtains a Heart Piece.
