New Stuff!

GreenHouse - The greenhouse is an alternate produce growing structure to the original Produce Farm. This is designed for standard farmland growing crops and is completely enclosed in glass so it's save to harvest.

 

Starter House Crafting! - It's been requested again and again and again, we finally relented and figured out a recipe for the starter house. After the player generates their house, and wants to generate another one, they will not include any of the chest items and will not be able to select them in the GUI.

 

Fish Pond Updates - The fish pond has been updated to allow any type of vanilla fish in it's recipe.

 

New Stairs! - New stair types have been added. Glass, Smooth Andesite, Smooth Diorite, Smooth Granite stairs have been added. We will use these in structures as the need arises :).

 

New Slabs! - New slab types have been added. Glass, Smooth Andesite, Smooth Diorite, Smooth Granite slabs have been added. We will use these in structures as the need arises :).

Fixes!

Structures now save GUI configuration -  Previously only some structures would save their GUI settings when the GUI is closed through the Preview function or the Close button. Now the settings for each structure type are saved until the player logs out of the world.

A magic temple structure has been added. This a great structure to house your fully upgraded enchanting table and a place to get some brewing done.
Fixes!
Improved how fast structure generation is. Previously it was taking a long time to clear out the build space before placing the other blocks.
This has been improved to ignore air blocks more effeciently. This reduces server lag and creates the structure faster.

Fixed an issue where the villager houses could only be created as flat roof style.

Fixed an issue where the instant bridge preview wasn't shown when the item was in one of the player's hands

French, Spanish (Spain) and Spanish (Mexico) languages have been added. 
These were done using Google Translate, so some things may be off for native speakers. Please PM me any corrections.

 

Changes!
Recipes which previously required various amounts of Glowstone now have alternate recipes which requires Paper Lanterns. The generation of these structures has not been changed at this time so they will include Glowstone when generated instead of Paper Lanterns.

Item names have been updated to conform to 1.11 standards. All old names will map to the new ones so no data is lost.

 

Structures in the nether changes!
Previously, structures which had water in their designs were not available in the Nether or the End.
This has been adjusted so the structures can be generated but the water is replaced with cobblestone.
This way the vanilla behavior is maintained and users playing in a Nether Survival type of mod-pack can still use the structures like the starting house.

Aqua Base - This is a new structure which is designed to be placed underwater though it can be placed on normal land too. It is a very large building and allows a player to create multiple floors for their underwater base!

 

New Options for Starter House!  - New house styles have been added for the starter house. The styles are designed for Deserts and Snowy biomes.

 

New Configuration Options - The recipe for each item/block can now be toggled on and off. This requires a restart of minecraft.

 

Changes!

The version checking process has been updated to use the built-in functionality provided by Forge. This means that if your version is out of date you will see the green update icon in the mod options in addition to the message seen when entering a world. The message can still be turned off to reduce text spamming when entering a world.

New Stuff!

Ender Gateway - This is a great way to get to the end without having to find a stronghold. The player will have to gather a lot of materials to build this item, but it cannot be called "The End" if it was easy. There were some new blocks created for this building which are described below.

 

Phasic Block - This is a new block added for the Ender Gateway. This is normally a solid visible block but when the player right-clicks on it, the block will phase out over a second and disappear for 5 seconds before phasing back in over a second. This phasing out cascades to nearby Phasic Blocks. While the block is transparent it cannot be interacted with and the player can fall through it or walk through it. This is used as the door for the Ender Gateway. The block also responds to redstone signals where it will become transparent when receiving a redstone signal. This will also trigger nearby Phasic Blocks to become transparent.

 

Boundary Block - This is another new block added for the Ender Gateway. This is normally a transparent block (it will be solid and visible when in the inventory) when in the world. However, players can walk on it and cannot walk through it as it blocks all movement and players cannot interact with it when it's transparent. Pistons cannot move this block either. This block responds to redstone signals where it will become visible when receiving a redstone signal. When receiving a redstone signal it will also trigger nearby Boundary Blocks to become visible.

 

Changes - Structures which were previously only allowed to be generated in the overworld can now be generated in any dimension except for The End or the Nether.

New Stuff!

Defense Bunker - Designed for PvP or heavy monster servers. This is a building with a fence and open area before the tower. The tower itself has 3 levels and multiple trap doors used as windows to allow players to shoot out of them.

 

Mineshaft Entrance - This is structure to be used as way to create additional mineshafts after placing down the starting house. 

 

Villager Houses - This item is used to quickly create small villager type items. This item can be used up to 10 times before the player has to create a new one.

 

Disable Preview - A new configuration option has been added which allows players to disable the preview functionality. This is a client-side only configuration.

  • Paper Lantern - This is a new light source block which will be used in structures which will be designed for pre-nether use.
  • Machinery Tower - By request this a new generic building for mod machines and/or build space.
    • This building is a full chunk in width and depth (inside is 14x14 because...walls) and is about 9 blocks high.
    • There is a ladder to go to the roof and there is a simple minecart track which can have a minecart with chest in order to transfer items from the roof to the first floor. The roof is completely open and fully lite. There is also a skylight to the first floor.
  • The "Compressed Stone" recipe has been updated to accept any variant of vanilla Stone.
    • This includes: Stone, Andesite, Granite, Diorite
    • This does NOT include: Cobblestone as it's a different block.

New Stuff!

Instant Bridge - This is a new item which is the first structure item to have multiple uses (10 to be exact). It is designed to work only when you are pointing towards water when it's within your normal reach (5 blocks) or when you aren't targeting anything. This way you can easily make a bridge over a large body of water/lava or a skybridge to your friends place. There is no normal GUI for this item but it does show a small preview of where it will be when you are holding the item.

 

There is a new Server Admin configuration option for the Monster Masher. This is to determine if the spawners are included in the building when it's generated. When this is set to false the spawners are not placed so the player will have to find/make their own and put them in the empty spaces. By default the spawners are included.

 

Fixes!

Fixed an issue with the building and preview processing when the Anarchy version of FoamFix was also included in the mod list.

Advanced Chicken Coop - This is an upgraded chicken coop which is set up for automatic egg harvesting. You can also place eggs inside a dispenser to hatch more chickens in the harvesting area. After the building is completed 4 chickens will be spawned in the harvesting area.

 

Advanced Horse Stable - This is a large building used for horses. It has 4 separate pens which are identical to each other. Best used on servers.

 

Barn - This is a brand new building for the mod and has tons of animal storage space. It has a total of 16 separate pens for animals. So if you want you can have a pen for each color of sheep.

 

Changes!

The Bundle of Timber item has been changed to require logs instead of planks. It was determined that it was too cheap of a building material for the items in the mod.

The standard Chicken Coop now comes with 1 chicken when the building is spawned. You will have to get more but it's something to start with.

Nether Gate - This is a functional structure for the Nether Portal. It is designed to look like the head of a dragon and the portal is in the back of the mouth. The player will have to light the portal after it is generated as it will not come pre-lite.

 

Fixes!
The Hobbit Hole starter house has been updated to have a proper spawning location next to the bed. Previously there were half blocks next to the bed which caused the player to not have a valid spawning location if they died after sleeping in the bed.

 

The Monster Masher was updated to remove all dirt and grass blocks which were being generated on the first floor. These dirt/grass blocks were replaced with smooth diorite.

New Stuff!

Structure generation has been improved. Previously the entire structure space was cleared of existing blocks in a single server tick. This has been improved to be spaced out over several server ticks just like with the normal block placement. This will cause structure generation to take a few seconds longer than previous but will make for a more interesting build experience.

 

Per user request I have implemented checks for the "BlockEvent.BreakEvent" and "BlockEvent.PlaceEvent" events. What this means is if a block or area is protected by a mod so that only the admin or a specific user can break/place blocks there, this mod will not bypass this protection when a user attempts to build a structure in that protected area. If a player attempts to build a Prefab structure where there is a protected block, they will receive a message saying that the build cannot be done due to protected blocks/area. The player will NOT lose their item.

 

Note: Mod Authors will need to implement these events and cancel them in order to keep the blocks/chunks protected. These events are also called on each block to be destroyed or placed (which could be in the thousands depending on the structure to place) so efficient processing is requested.

Added configuration option for turning off the update checker.
Added "Bundle of Timber" item, this is used for structure recipes. Can be made from any combination of planks. Can be reversed but only to Oak Planks.
Added "Horse Stable" item. This will create a single stall horse stable for a player to keep their horse.

 

Fixes!

Fixed an issue with the starting house generation where a crash could occur when there are too many items to place in the chest created when generating the mine shaft. Now when there are more than 27 stacks to place in the chest  a second chest will be placed and the remaining items will be placed in the second chest. However; if there are more than 54 stacks to place, the stacks after the 54th stack will be lost.

Structure Preview - All structure GUIs now include a "preview" button. This will create a shadow structure in the world for you to see what it will look like when it's placed. This will give you the opportunity to make sure that you have enough space for the structure or to make sure that it will be placed where you want it to be placed. Block facings for fences, torches and other similar blocks will most likely not have their proper facing when rendered in this fasion, they will look correct when placed.

 

Note: The only structure you cannot preview at this time is the Basic Starter House, all other starter house types can be previewed.

Monster Masher - Fixed an issue where the structure image wasn't showing properly.

 

Structure Building has been improved! Previously it would attempt to build the entire thing in 1 action which could cause a server to lag for a bit while the structure is being placed. This has been improved to stagger the building process. You will be able to see the blocks being placed in front of you. For smaller structures it will seem rather instantaneous but for larger structures it could take a second or two for the whole thing to finish so give it some time.

Note: Due to the Basic Starter House being as configurable as it is (in terms of size), these types of improvements cannot be done to the Basic Starter House. The other starter house variants have this improvement.
