Quick Leaf Decay
Description
This small mod makes minecraft leaves decay much faster. It should also be compatible with most modded leaves. This mod is not required client side so clients don't need to have the mod installed if it's already on the server.
Config
In the config file you can change the decay speed & fuzz (How random the decay is). There is also an option to make all leaves decay faster, by default only leaves on trees broken by players decay faster.
Feel free to add it to any modpack you want.
Is this option present in v1.2 for 1.8.9? I want to know before I install it unnecessarily.
Edit: I guess it doesn't matter, since all leaves decayed faster in older versions, and that's the behavior I want. If a creeper blows up part of a tree, I want the tree to decay in the same way and at the same rate as if a player broke it. I just wanted to know when this functionality was added, that's all.
This is easily my second favorite mod ever. Sorry, Dynamic Surroundings is just too good ;)
Is there an issue tracker somewhere?

i use Forestry without this mod, and cherry trees drop just tons of cherries on their own when you cut them down. Bajillions of them. QLD just expedites their dropping.
when setting the speed to 8, cutting down the tree with wooden axe is impossible
ahhhhhh i'm so sorry i just confused it with tree chopper mod :D

Uh where is the config file? Id like to change the rate to make it 0 like in the video so its almost instant and I cant figure it out. Im probably missing something super simple and obvious but when I go to the mods config is greyed out. Opening up the jar archive and skimming through the various files didnt help either... some more precise and descriptive steps in how to change the config would be appreciated :(

Are you sure? the video on this same page mentioned three different speeds. Speed 7 fuzz 5, speed 7 fuzz 0, and speed 0 fuzz 0. It even mentions this in the desc.

However I did find the config file, just it would have been nice to have some instructions for new modders to point them to the config file location and what to do to change the settings since there wasnt anything in the game mod options.
You also posted this question on this mods page so i assumed you don't have mine installed.
Actually I did have your mod installed, as he pointed out in that very same link when he "also" said it wasn't his mod. But even though I did have your mod installed the other mod author still took the time to explain that the config file that could be edited was located in AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\config... which you still havent for some reason.
I did however post in both since I was confused considering how similar both mods are and what they were called, and to get help sooner of course considering my problem was a simple one and in fact both mods have that config file as I found out.
If I could, Id suggest to you that in your mod you either add some instructions to the description or the video about how to change the config files that you mention, or maybe include the ability to change the config on the fly in the mod list menu here if possible. http://puu.sh/rktRs/711a82ee08.png
Lastly if I may ask... since you sort of brought up the link to the other mod page. Why is there two different mods that do almost the same thing with almost the same name? I found both pages via google and youtubing so it was a bit confusing. It is very interesting though. All I can assume is either its a strange coincidence or you both used to work on the mod together but then split to work on it separately for some reason, but you know what they say about assuming. You do both seem aware of the other's mod though.
where is your issue tracker?
Please update for 1.10.2 :)
